We hope to one day eliminate human trafficking

The World breaking inhumane cycle. And one life at a time, one change, this is how we end modern-day slavery.

WHAT WE DO

— Prevention

Raising Awareness about Sexual abuse, exploitation through Education & Social Media-posts. Assisting both law enforcement and private individuals needing support to locate the missing people, cyber investigations and physical investigations. The telephone helpline in Delhi for Female Sex Workers (FSW) who are forced into sex trade and exploited.

— Rescue

We send our local investigators, identify victims, rescue from their captors, build effective cases, utilize technology and covert gear, and support law enforcement in operations.

— Rehabilitation

The rescued survivor needs mental, emotional and physical healing before starting a new life. We start the healing process as soon as the victim is rescued, through psychological counseling, emotional support and confidence building efforts.

— Reintegration

The survivors of sex-trafficking must live with dignity and freedom again and that is the main purpose of reintegration. We prepare the survivors for mainstream life well before we send them to their new social circle or job.

— Repatriation

Most of our rescued victims are from across the border so we arrange for repatriation. We have tied up with social organisations in international locations and we advocate aftercare services too.

— Advocacy

We provide legal aid, client representation, and support for survivors during legal proceedings. We also bring to book the traffickers using legal and criminal justice system in the country.

HOW WE DO

Awareness Programmes

We regularly organise video sessions, awareness activities, Nukkad Natak and share information to educate and mobilise groups of people into action. We also have conversations with people on the issue of human trafficking.

Trainings

It’s a collective responsibility of every section of society to combat this problem. We train common citizens and people who are responsible for making policies, reformation and administration. We organise seminars, mental health camps and trainings for survivors as well as for those who rescue them.

Socio-Emotional well-being

We organise social events for survivors during festivals and involve them in celebrations and treat them with respect. This is to boost their socio-emotional well-being and make them feel part of the mainstream society.

Collaboration

Fighting against human trafficking is a herculean task which is possible only if we collaborate with other like minded organisations. We work with government agencies, police personnel and individuals to rehabilitate the survivors and strive to give them human dignity and equal status in society.

Mental Health

Mental health is key to a good life. A person caught in human trafficking goes through tremendous physical and emotional pain and trauma. We provide mental health couselling to help them recover from this trauma and give them confidence to face life again. Mental health counselling is required even for those working against human trafficking.

Empowerment

We work towards empowering the survivors to integrate them in society by helping them find jobs, use their skills and make a living. This gives them a sense of belonging and boosts their self-esteem.
